Enjoy the seasonal flavors of upcountry with a weekly, 'farmer's pick' bag from our Waipoli farm for the month of March. Every week we will pick the best of our harvest from our diversified vegetable farm to provide a bag full of fresh variety for each CSA member.
What we have growing right now is: cauliflower, broccoli, broccolini, carrots, celery, spinach, romaine, snow peas, cabbage, kale, parsley, cilantro, fennel, and more- plus a couple of items from other farm friends like avocados and citrus that we will incorporate for extra variety. The picture is just an example, and every bag will be different each week.
The bags will be ready on Wednesdays and pick up will be at the farm upcountry from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., or you can arrange to pick up your bag at one of the events if you will be attending that weekend. Come on up and see where your food is grown- you are welcome to walk the gardens and talk story with our farmers when you come for pick up. There is also limited availability for pick up on Thursdays at Maui Juice in Wailuku or Story in Paia.
Purchasing a subscription is a one month commitment for each Wednesday in March, for a total of 4 bags at $30 each. If you are not able to pick up your bag for the week, you are responsible for arranging somebody else to pick it up.
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a system that connects community members directly to farmers in their area where they purchase 'shares' of the farm's harvest in advance to receive fresh food throughout the growing season.
This model directly supports local agriculture and provides consumers with the freshest food available, as well as a connection to where it comes from and who is producing it.
We are excited to provide for our community and grateful for the support!
